Educational Programming

JQ International’s Educational Programming is designed to:

• Facilitate the advancement of understanding and knowledge of GLBT and Jewish issues
• Create an experience that boosts awareness and acts as a catalyst for further growth as an individual and as a community
• Enables participants the opportunity to become more involved in activism and social action
• Strengthens community, pride and respect for the GLBT Jewish identity

Examples of JQ International’s Educational Programming include:

• Evening with Mazon – Hunger Simulation with subsequent volunteer opportunities
• Dinner Discussion Series with guest speakers on GLBT and/or Jewish issues
• GLBT Passover Seder with interactive lessons and discussions regarding GLBT Jewish history and awareness
